About ASBCThe Autism Society of Boulder County (ASBC) was founded in 2001 as a parent support group and evolved into a local Autism Society of America (ASA) chapter supporting Boulder and Broomfield Counties in Colorado. We are an all volunteer, Charitable 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization, and have no hired staff and charge no local dues to our members. We rely on volunteers and donations, annual conference, workshops and wine tasting and silent auction to fund ASBC's other activities. Autism Society of Boulder County is a registered charity with the Colorado Secretary of State under the name Autism Society of America - Boulder County Chapter. Dues assessed to voting ASBC members are from Autism Society of America (ASA), and no part of those dues belong to ASBC. The current official ASA membership is 40 members.
